Our client is a leading service organisation are expanding their Management Consultancy business.
We are looking for manufacturing management consultants to help grow and develop their management consulting capabilities with specific experience within the following industries; aerospace and defence; process and chemical; automotive and industrial (heavy) manufacturing.
Candidates must have strong previous experience in consultancy led sales engagements and operational project delivery environments as well as business operations expertise.
Provide appropriate IT subject matter experience and linkage to business value.
Contribute to the development of a growing practice across one or more practice areas; internal practice development’; delivery excellence and business development.
Such experience should come ideally from a blue chip company or consultancy, although high calibre candidates will be considered whatever their background.
Candidates must demonstrate both current capability and the potential for future development.
Self confidence and an ability to build relationships with clients at all levels, especially at CxO and business unit level.
Previous consultancy experience from a major consultancy.
Demonstrable manufacturing based subject matter expertise in a recognised discipline and industry.
Fluent in English plus ideally another European language such as German, French and/or a Scandinavian language.
Ability to provide front end management consulting sales leadership and support to pull through their capabilities for clients.
Desire to aid in the development and growth of Manufacturing Practice across Europe.
Relevant experience gained within industry or a consulting firm.
Preferably involved in operating model design from business strategy and process improvement either as part of significant strategic transformation programmes or as part of new technology initiatives.
Knowledge of operating models and key operational business processes.
Ability to liaise effectively with clients and gain client trust.
Ability to link technology and business for client value.
Familiarity with core IT systems, how they support business operations and enable change.
Experience of formal project management techniques (budgeting, planning, risk management)
Leadership and team building skills.
Account planning and opportunity management with fellow internal colleagues.
